the grand opening!
June 29th, 2026
The Sagasu Review has been in the works for close to two months now. with enough time to settle in a bit, i am happy to announce the beginning of this publication and website.
hooray!!
sure we still only have one staff member, we only have a handful of reviews, we are still finding footing and voice, but all of that comes with time and effort.
i wanted to talk about the future of the site as of today, what to expect from here. for the next year, The Sagasu Review will be purely focused on publishing content, gaining readership and establishing social media presence. then TSR can work on easing into its second year (which is more focused on long term sustainability). at it’s core, The Sagasu Review simply wants to give readers a place to continue to visit for music reviews and recommendations. beyond that is a way to better interconnect its readers with a culture and medium that is fast growing. albeit in a more holistic and human driven approach. there’s a lot of scaffolding and blueprints going on back here. goal one intends to fulfill the site’s core idea of music reviews. goal two intends to use social medias as a way to gather audiences to one central place to connect. goal three (for next year) intends to help the site grow and sustain for long term. money is always a question, but it doesn’t have to be gross. we hope to find financial growth to help hire more writers, thus helping the site and its two first goals better flourish.
in its inaugural week, The Sagasu Review will be placing its best and favorite music on review (to better celebrate a terrific medium of course!). The Sagasu Review has found it’s footing in excitement around great music and interesting music. what better way to celebrate the site than to pull more attention to what has driven this feeling. look forward to reviews on great works, editorials on great people and thoughts from great writers.
The Sagasu Review and its staff are excited to enter its first year of earthly planetary orbit. we hope to bring the peoples living on this earth a bit closer together.
we look forward to an exciting future.
sincerely,
Marcus Landeros
