XinU’s new track is such a great condensation of what is going on with this artist. the short but quite effective bop is an effortless pop drive into the eardrums. so much so that a sort of mid-song trance overcomes the senses. by the time the song reaches the end, you’ll be snapping out of some sort of dream. hmm, that was kind of great, lets go again. XinU has recently come to the forefront of my sight-lines. her music is a really great blend of upbeat pop and r&b.ask anyone who knows me and they’ll begrudgingly say this is my ideal date.
“Fools in the Rain” feels like a really great extension into this world. it’s the just right amount of bop, of pop, of feeling. all the little “ooh-oo-oooh”s tap the heart just right. not to mention the theme of love in the rain hits home, it’s such a fun and carefree concept to sing on. no more notes.
