An upbeat track that serves it’s purpose well. On my first listen, I had a hard time comprehending it. At first, it sounded like any anime opening meant to be filled with a collages of images from its series. What stands out mostly to me is its choir backing vocals. That makes it step out more than all the other OPs. There’s a point in the song where the key changes and its honestly just uphill from there. The song gets a break from its upbeaten path with the key change and then the choir gets their time to shine as they sing the opening chorus. The track gives off a feeling of hope and an encouragement for a resolve that seems impossible. Something I’m sure is fitting for the show that it is attached to. This my first time listening to King Gnu and I look forward to returning to them in the near future.
